RETIRED: Darien EMS 45: 2007 Ford E450 Type 3 Ambulance

Darien EMS Squad 50: 2018 Ford Police Interceptor

The Squad Car is our ALS First Response vehicle. 50 is used by our Advanced EMTs and Paramedics when they need to get somewhere fast, or when a driver isn't available for the Ambulance. This vehicle is equipped to allow our Paramedics to provide advanced life support at the scene until an Ambulance can arrive. It looks like a police car because, under the hood, it is! However, you won’t see us performing any traffic stops.

Darien EMS 45: 2024 F450, Medix Type 1 MSV-II 170
